Spider pumpkins.

We had to scale the whole pumpkin thing down this year because.... ya know. I'm hanging on by my finger nails at this point. So, we did spider pumpkins which wasn't that easy to make a pumpkin look like a spider. But I guess that is the challenge of the whole thing. But we just didn't have time to do anything amazing like Pacman Pumpkins. Tiny spider pumpkins will have to do.

Our first one turned out too happy. He looked like he belonged more in the South Park pumpkin group.

Last year we did Evil Clown pumpkin.

  1. They look pretty good ...

I just can't do pumpkin stuff -- I don't like the smell and I don't even like the pies that come out of pumpkins.

And "Pumpkin Spice Latte" drinks are the devil's own seasonal coffee drink, which is why I'm looking forward to the day after Halloween when Egg Nog Lattes become available.

I almost bought a small container of Egg Nog last night at the grocery store so I'd have it for coffee, but I looked at how much sugar is in it and decided against it. 23 grams of sugar per serving? That's like eating a candy bar!

  2. Looks like your kinda of place:

  3. Capital of Texas Refugee - mmmmmmm. Candy bars. Pumpkin is pretty down there on my list of pies. Cherry being what I'd chose over everything else. Egg nog though....bleh. It tastes like snot!

BunnyGoat - I'm a little bummed I wasn't able to find Lacy a new costume this year. She's the only one who even remotely puts up with it. This is what I dressed her up as last year.

I like the suggestions for naming the robots, BTW. :-)

  5. BTW ... key lime cheesecake?

Yes, technically it's not a pie, but it's the best pie EVAR. :-)

  6. Hmmmm. Maybe. But I feel like it should come from Florida because I think that's the only time I've ever had key lime pie. But I liked it. Not enough to ditch cherry. The cheesecake part seems kinda weird, but I might go with it.
