I don't know why the media keeps reporting this false narrative.

Report: A minimum-wage worker can't afford a 2-bedroom apartment anywhere in the US.

This is not a thing. It has never been a thing. The minimum wage was for teenagers who were still living with their parents. It wasn't meant to support middle age people with children.

People should also know that you don't have a right to live in the town you grew up in unless your parents bought a house and they are going to will it to you. I grew up in Santa Clara. I now live in the burbs. It's not a tragedy. They don't send cows down the middle of the city in Santa Clara. They do in my burb. It's pretty nice out here in the burbs.
