What the Democrats don't understand is - the reason why we voted for Trump is because he fights back. And the Mueller case is a perfect example. We are exhausted by the Democrats getting to say anything they want and just get away with it.

If this would have been Romney or any of the Never Trumpers - they would have rolled over like a whipped dog and apologized. Most of the Republican Party is just spineless.

It's just that simple.

The political jokes don't get funnier from here on out, BTW.

But this whole "Democrat" thing is a heavy thing to hang on yourself, as is "Republican", which is why I wouldn't do it.

    A brief recap: "A list of things I am not: a Democrat, a Republican, a Libertarian, a Socialist, a Communist, a Globalist, a Nationalist ..."

But yeah, I get it, I understand why people vote in Trump, Bolsonaro, Salvini, and so on and so on.

They need bigger thugs to deal with the little thugs who are trying to fuck up their shit and disturb their calm.

Essentially this is why I tend to agree with agorism, but with a different perspective: if I need to bust some heads in order to keep my shit from being fucked up and to maintain my calm, I want in on the head-busting action myself.

Dirt-collection against politicians isn't something I have a problem with per se since it's a time-tested pry-bar tactic for leveraging politicians out of office. But I do have a problem with having a certain percentage of money extorted from me via taxation as theft being used to perpetuate a partisan dirt-collection operation.

Since I've already lost that much money and then some, I'm now in favor of the flip-side partisan dirt-collection operation: I now want tax money to be spent on finding absolutely every bit of dirt that the Democrats have on them, especially if it's tax money I no longer have to pay.

This is not because I'm anti-Democrat more than anti-Republican or anything like it, but since I've had other loyal citizens of the realm support theft of my wealth by taxation as well as the bullying that comes with it, I'd now like the statist government to do something that finally gets around to offending these particular people personally.

As for some bullshit thing called an "identity", I try to avoid this sort of thing, but maybe there is one: "Outernationalist".

Because I try not to fuck up other people's shit and to disturb their calm, I can visit places that would be threatening to other people, and I can especially do that by staying Outside whatever it is that these people identify as.

Democrats can assume I'm one of their own, as do Republicans, even though that's not true at all. It's easy: dress respectably, speak confidently yet calmly, ignore the political posturing of others, and remain unmoved in the face of other people's bullshit.

And so now is a great time to offer moral comfort to Democrats who no longer believe in any of this: "What can I say? You got duped by professional con artists, but that doesn't mean you have to take this shit lying down. Maybe you'd like some help ripping these con artists some new assholes?"

You don't need them to come over to your side, and chances are they won't.

But if you can put the pin back in the grenade, drive past the IED without setting it off, or get the lynch mobs to go after the actual evils instead of moving in your direction, isn't this a very good thing for you?

The only thing in these terms that's exhausting me involves people with no agency and no standing believing they can create political change through unpleasantly loud forms of whining, bellowing, and posturing ...

That happens to cut across all so-called "political orientations", BTW.

  2. I think I've grown too tired to fight. For the most part I just treat these people as boulders to go around. But there are just so damn many of them now. And yes - they are noisy boulders.

"But there are just so damn many of them now. And yes - they are noisy boulders."

Someone in Atlanta told me they're thinking about replacing the police sirens with THIS.

But he's not a reliable source of information because he's a comedian. :-)

  4. Living in an area that voted so heavily towards Trump that the only reason he didn't take the state was NYC: yah, that and he's not Hillary. I saw more "Hillary for Prison" signs during hte last election cycle than I saw Hillary for Pres signs, even when I went into the local larger city. Personally I voted 3rd party, but yah, I get why people voted for him.

  5. I thought that whole Hillary for Prison thing was weird. Everyone knew she was never going to see jail time right?
