For the glitter Nazi's.

Yeah, I said it. You know there is a war on glitter. Right? Because we may only have what is functional and without joy apparently.

But seriously - I really like these low power LED's. They have been trying  them in a bunch of different packaging. And cards seem like a good application.

  1. LEDs in cards? Why not! I'm now a fan of those cards that play music, I send them to my kids for their birthdays. They tell me my grandkids love them! They wear them out and that's far more use than most cards get.
As a plus I enjoy find a card with a tune I like!

  2. Well, don't bother with "who let the dogs out" because that card literally makes zero neighbors stop letting their dogs bark.

  3. First thoughts: "Did they actually mean to name this hotel the Weird Hotel?"

Hen na ... strange (変), but really meant to be weird. Not quite taihen na (大変な) level weird, but close enough. More like taihen nara (大変なら) levels of weird actually, but maybe I'm just being hypothetical. :-)

Oh look the online shop in Japanese sells little bots ...

WAIT ... WTF is the Winbot 850?

    OMG IT'S A WINDOW-BA!

Well, what do you call a Roomba that does windows?

OH, BUT WAIT ... there's the Winbot 950!

    SUGOI!!!!!!! :-)

Still, this is really pricey for a window cleaner: 700 bucks more or less for the suu-paa suu-paa model, 600 bucks more or less for the still suu-paa but not suu-paa suu-paa model, and I'd bet they can't take non-Japanese plastic or deliver outside Japan.

Also, I don't know about you, but I'm always checking out my window cleanliness with a lab-grade stereo microscope ...

Now if these people would turn the Weird Hotel into the Weird Love Hotel (大変なラブホテル) with bots in the rooms ... but, seriously, that would be even weirder. '^__^' :-)

BUT WILL THEY INVENT ANOTHER BOT TO CLEAN UP THE MESSES??!! :-)

  4. Yeah. they've been trying to sell those for at least a handful of years. They never seem to gain traction.

Love the Japanese stuff though. Google translate leaves me awful confused sometimes. I recently fell in love with the word bokeh. That is all.
