I think I'm hoping to annoy my neighbor the most.

So a while back I told you guys I had a new neighbor with a barking dog. Well, the cute little card I bought that played "Who let the dogs out" and sent to them anonymously with a nice note only worked for a little while.

So on Sunday at 7:30 in the morning I had to go ring their doorbell and yell at them.

I look forward to my construction guys not letting their baby sleep - for at least a month. And I'm going to stick the shitter just feet from their pool which never existed before they moved in. I will talk about it later.

  1. You do know that there are "dog whistle" apps you can use for sufficiently dastardly purposes?

They work even better if your neighbors are younger than you are. :-)

Ready for some "inaudible sound checks" at 1 AM, 2 AM, 3 AM, 4 AM, and 5 AM? :-)

I don't know about your neighbors, but 17.4 kHz for a Two Minutes Hate works really, really well here.

It's soooooo nice and quiet right now. :-)

  2. Since my city makes it almost impossible to make this issue stop without confronting them - I'm over taking the cowards way out. I was super nice to them the first time - when I sent the the card. Now it's quite possibly war. I moved from my last house because of a dog. I/ felt life was too short to deal with that shit. But it's a different world now. You can't just move will nilly.

I have a brand new sound bar with a giant sub woofer. If they make me mad enough I might just play skrillix all day. Maybe I'll make a recording of my chop saw and play that all day interspersed with the recording of their dog barking.

  3. "Oh, it looks like our neighbor is moving out ..."

"No, it looks like he's moving in ... and he's moving an ENTIRE SOUND STAGE!"

    A few weeks later ...

"I wonder what he's been doing with that sound equipment ..."

"I don't know ... hey, do you feel the floor moving?"

The electric bills were a beast. :-)

  4. Operatic soprano, with full orchestra and a nice subwoofer, does a nice job too. Not that I'd know from experience or anything......
