"Multi-bird roasts, where different types of bird are stuffed inside a larger one, have become the thing to carve this year - and the more birds involved the better. One of the top-sellers is the Waitrose four-bird roast: guinea fowl, duck and turkey breast stuffed inside a goose. "
I don't know if this has a catchy name like turducken.... so, I'm creating my own.
Tuk-duck-goose. Enjoy!

Have you ever had Turducken or something like it?
ReplyDeleteI am so immature, whenever I see Turducken written, I read it as "TURD-ucken". You said "turd!" hur-hur.
Ha! Me too.

Nooo.. I haven't.
I assume you haven't either, or you'd be giving me fabulous stories of what it was like.
I think it's too much. But, surely that is only because they hadn't put enough birds in one carcass. I think I draw the line well before 12 birds.
Did you follow the link?
Egads! What do you think that they started with? A Peacock?
ReplyDeleteOH! They would do the whole evolutionary scale. They could start out with 10,000 year old eggs and wind up with an ostrich.
