Apparel retailers’ earnings, as a group, are down 24% for the first quarter of 2019, according to an analysis by Retail Metrics.

The last time the group’s earnings were this bad was the first quarter of 2008, when they fell 40%.

It's not cool anymore to work for Apple, Google, Facebook or any of those guys anymore. Pixar is still marginally good. But you don't work for Pixar to salary hop. You take a pay cut and agree to give your free time away for the coolness factor.. Just as it is when you work for gaming companies. You just simply don't get top dollar because working there is "cool in itself".
