So-  the neighbors woke me up with their barking dog at 8:30 this morning. So I went over to bang on their door. SWAT style. They weren't going to open the door. Asked them if it was too much to ask to sleep in on the weekends. They threw me off the property saying I was harassing them.

So there is that. Their dog woke me up yesterday too.

    That's so you can install the 24 "ultrasonic insect repellent" devices that will be aimed in the direction of Nasty Neighbor with Nasty Dog. :-)

    Hahahaha. I'd love to just hire one of those guys from the Sacramento Autorama audio competition. At first I was pretty excited about that thing at first. I thought it was a massive LED light strip. Lights don't seem to be touched by community rules. I've already installed a spite light.

    The funny thing is they weren't going to open the door. But I was knocking on it like I was the popo. BOOM BOOM BOOM. Took me three times. They were gonna ghost me. I'm so pissed at this point I might have started knocking louder. That way I don't have to call the police this time. I've had animal control out there twice.

    Normally I'm the kind of person who will suffer in silent rage. But this is the second time I've hit this particular landmine, so I'm going to make them feel as uncomfortable as they have made the neighborhood. They are honestly the loudest family I've ever seen in my life. Sort of like a rich honey boo boo. I'm ready to go to court. I could tell from the very beginning that girl had no intention of doing anything about that dog. She thinks its cute when it barks.

    If it were me, I would consider a lawsuit. A lawyer would probably have you see a psychologist who would testify that your job is being affected by lack of sleep due to the dog's barking. Legal action would be a last resort, but it appears that you have run out of options, and being the "nice guy" doesn't work.

    "Cute when it barks?" The clods won't think it is so "cute" when they are hit with a judgement that orders them to pay money damages, not including court and legal costs. Quite often, a properly-written letter from a good lawyer that threatens legal action is enough to get compliance. You are entitled to "quiet enjoyment" of your property, and even though I am not a lawyer, it seems that some sort of answer exists in the civil codes.

    Thank you for your comments. I don't want any money from them. I think people are too quick to try and get money from people. I just want them to stop. A lawyer won't touch this case anyway. There is no money in it.

    I finally did talk to someone this morning that had a buddy who was forced to put a bark collar on his dog. Finding anyone who has done more than suffer in silence is pretty hard because it's a really uncomfortable situation and people will put up with a lot to avoid that discomfort.
