It's funny how of all the things people are mad at....... no one seems to be concerned with interest rates. I haven't talked to one person who has mentioned them at all.
In my view, the artificially low rates have been stealing from us for years. While I recognize the down sides, it seems like it's long past time for them to increase.
Oh I agree, but the idea that no one seems concerned is perplexing. Most homeowners must be insulated enough with low rates and the rest maybe the rest are so accustomed to low rates that they don't think rates will affect them. They have risen quite rapidly though. We are suppose to be swimming in debt.
The media hasn't mentioned them once that I've seen, therefor it must not be important, don't'cha know

ReplyDeleteAre you kidding?
ReplyDeleteI've had friends ask me for referrals to one of my credit unions because they're offering sub-two percent interest rates on used car loans!
Interest rates are the jackhammers of finance.
ReplyDeleteI like that phrase. It sort of focuses the mind.
