And why is "lose" pronounced like "looz" but "hose" like, well, "ho'z"? English is just weird that way, with spelling/pronunciation often arbitrary. I'm a "furreigner" so I know 'cause I had to learn to navigate the weirdness, haha. ;P
Awwww. That is really sweet of you guys making me feel not as stupid as I really am. I'm a giant looser!
I don't know what my problem is. I know how to spell it, but I never see it as misspelled. Mr S. points it out to me all the time. People on the blog have pointed it out to me. Yet I persist in misspelling it.
It would help a lot if loose wasn't a word. Then spell check would catch it. Because I seriously am completely illiterate. I'm not even going to lie.
I completely agree. Not about the IQ thing, but about "lose." It should have a "Z" in it.
