I'm feeling like all those delivery bots I've been seeing for the past few years are bullshit. Said in the most sarcastic way.

And shouldn't those robot restaurants in San Fransisco be making a killing? Where are all the stories of a robot revolution!

  1. A lot of social unrest is coming our way if the robots do take over such jobs.

What will the people on the left side of the bell curve do if there are no jobs because of automation? No jobs, no money, no reason to get up in the morning, etc, etc.

Bernie supplying all the free beer and video games? I dunno.

  2. Robots... at the grocery store in the DIY lines, at the ATM, the gas pump, and I've seen the Walmart inventory robot several times at more than one walmart, it went around me. I found dealing with a robot like that, face to face, was a bit odd....
I also saw a floor scrubber doing it's thing, it looked like a normal scrubber with no one on it.

Sigh. When all these companies come back to the US - you are going to be praying for automation. We do not have enough skilled workers. And believe me - there is going to be a swift reaction to China. People are already moving.
