I saw a roadrunner and a coyote in the wild today. I better watch out for falling anvils.

Robots, Rabbits and Sarcasm. Come for the snark - stay for the random punctuation and nonlinear narrative. Don't say I didn't warn ya.
They've been falling on employment.
ReplyDeleteI really am sad about that.
ReplyDeleteBut it's what they voted for.
I think the gods of the copybook headings are approaching quickly.
ReplyDeleteCan't even feel sorry about it. I only feel bad that I positioned myself so poorly since I felt confident obama didn't have the record for a second term. So is life though.
I still do feel sad about it. I grew up around great suffering, and it's always affected me more than others. I will just have to learn to turn my back on those emotions. For it was not my choice. I wanted nothing but good for them.
ReplyDeleteI think even the best laid plans will be no safe haven. Positioned or not. You can only do your best.
I'd never heard of the copybook headings, and am including the link in case other haven't either. Thank you for that.

Well I always prefer things to be better than they are, but they could always be worse. However there doesn't seem to be an easy way out of the situation considering how one race thinks everything bad that happens is racist. It only leads me to the conclusion that there will be bloodshed because I don't see any good leadership for when it hits the fan.
ReplyDeleteRudyard Kipling makes lots of great works. "If" is another great poem imo. http://www.poetryloverspage.com/poets/kipling/kipling_ind.html
I'm not much into poetry (though I'm a little into almost everything) - but those works were comforting in a way.
ReplyDeleteThings can always be worse. Always. I mean, I haven't lost my imaginary fortune, moved to Belize and wind up wanted for murder. I guess there really is a fine line between genius and crazy.
