They are really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I guess all of those stories about the Democrats paying fines for felons is true.  A couple of days ago I got this text. Then today I got a voicemail from a different number, but the same organization.

I find the whole thing super creepy and frustrating because I support an avenue to work off your bad choices. For instance, Newsome actually did something good for once and made it so prison firefighters can become actual firefighters. It teaches them a skill and helps them be employed after their sentence. But you should have to work for it.

This is just ridiculous. How bad does your campaign have to be going, to be scrounging up felons?

  1. This is what an SMS blocker is for.

I don't accept text messages from anyone who isn't in my contacts.

But look where this is from: Pinellas County, Florida and the area around it.

If the rest of Florida could permanently export Miami-Dade, Broward, Hillsborough, Pinellas, Orange, and Duval counties to California, they would.

But these people are so afraid of losing the election, any election, that they're resorting to SMS bombing people?

This sort of crap is why mobile carriers had to start offering unlimited texts.

YOU COST ME TEN FUCKING CENTS ANNIE
FUCK OFF AND DIE ANNIE AND GIMME BACK
    MY TEN FUCKING CENTS BITCH

Annie is going to get her own felony conviction under Florida law if she keeps this shit up. :-)

  2. Yeah.... I sort of want to see what they are saying. You can't figure out how to avoid the boulders if you don't know what they are doing. And the world is full of boulders. This way when someone whips up an awkward conversation I can at least be prepared.

  3. You've probably never calculated the amount of time per month that you spend on wrong numbers and bullshit text messages.

    I have.

It's most of a full work day per month.

"You can't figure out how to avoid the boulders ..."

I don't have to be in the path of boulders to avoid boulders, and in fact, not being in the path of boulders goes a very long way to avoid them.

You might say that would even be a pre-condition of avoiding boulders. :-)

In fact, the only situation in which having a little bit of warning might have been helpful was one in which the only thing that actually saved me from direct and immediate problems was being out of the country.

So again, being out of the way of boulders helps avoid boulders.

However, people who try to drop boulders on people should expect boulders in their future. :-)
