And the i8 would make sense from a financial perspective over, say, a certain "expensive toy" from the UK ...
Given that you can't get the thing up to its top speed legally on the roads, it doesn't really matter that its top speed is 30 mph lower than that of the "expensive toy", which again would make sense.
So, yeah, probably is.
