Let's do the timewarp again.

"That debt burden is starting to weigh on consumers. Auto loan delinquencies rose to 0.97% at year-end according to Equifax, Inc., the highest since 2009. At the same time, 36% of new auto loans in the fourth quarter were leases, the largest such share since 2007. Bill Johnston, vice president of data and analytics at Equifax Canada Co., noted that “we’re starting to see consumer behavior shift to keep the payments as low as possible.” Source.

This time in Canada.

There isn't any interesting tech right now. So all these articles that are making comparisons to the Great Repression really stand out to me. Even last night Mr S. heard someone say it and I laughed. I'm like - oh that's freaking you out now too? He responds - I didn't really notice it until you started pointing it out.

I mean, seriously I think at least once a day a read an article that points back to 2007/8/9. Those were not good years, so..........I don't really get what's going on. It's like we are in suspended animation.

WOOHOO I'M SELLING VEHICLES AT A FUCKIN' LOSS NOW

    WOOO HOOO

Yeah, but I can't export them without more losses and a lot of hassle, so I don't actually care, but still ...

WOOO HOOO ALL ABOARD THE CARBECUE VALUATION EXPRESS!

Meanwhile, my friend with the Asian Import Beater gets an "offer" every two to three days from one of the dealerships where he's had it serviced.

The last one I saw on his phone was comical: they'd rebate the cost of the service just performed plus Five Hunnerd Dollah if he'd come in and sign a new note for a newer vehicle while leaving off a vehicle with less than 15k miles on it.

    Outstanding service! Outstanding value! :-)

BTW, sometimes I can get through, but since Google is being highly adaptive these days, I'm not going to describe the tricks involved.

Besides, it only works about 1% of the time now, and it's already failed twice while trying to add this Snarkasm(tm) comment.

  2. I hope I don't lose you. I guess I have sort of grown attached in a way. At first you were filling up my whole comment section, but now I sort of miss when you aren't around.

I'm not filling up your whole comment section ...

I'm getting the ball rollin' on those comments, bizatchez! :-)

I AM A BIG MAN BUT I AM NOT SO BIG THAT I CAN FILL YOUR WHOLE COMMENT SECTION

Not without a diet of Moar Popcorn, Cheezburgr Cats, and Covfefe. :-)

BTW, today at least I figured out one more temporary workaround for the Google Censor, so I'm taking a little advantage of that ...

FEAR MY ADAPTIVE EVIL GENIUS ALGORITHM, GOOGLE. :-)
