There isn't a day that goes by that I don't hope for the death of bitcoin. It singularly is the reason there hasn't been any tech this year. It's been cannibalizing all the tech money.

They must have had literally thousands of bitcoin conferences over the summer. I even went to a couple A.I. conferences that really just turned out to be bitcoin conferences.

Oh, and McCafee still needs to eat a bag of dicks.

  1. Yes, but product cycles have been becoming lame and iterative anyway ...

Maybe Bitcoin is lame as well, but some of the derivative stuff coming out of FinTech has sounded rather interesting.

I especially like the idea of FinTech and legal tech coming together to eliminate certain types of law practice bloat.

That'll free up plenty of people who will be needed to pursue the banksters into the hills with hunting dogs ... :-)

THERE WILL BE SONGS WRITTEN ABOUT THAT DAY

  2. I'm actually still fairly skeptical. But I haven't been paying much attention to the fintech stuff because there is still too much hype. After some dust settles I might rethink my stance.
