Capital of Texas Refugee - blogger ate your comment. I got it in email and I can see it in blogger. But for some reason it's not showing up. And it's not SPAM trapped. (shrug)
ReplyDeleteWild ... I've been recovering from the long drive and flight home, but I remember a comment I made while I was recovering from bombing myself with massive amounts of caffeine just so I could function while in transit.
ReplyDeleteSeeing the total eclipse was absolutely worth it.
Some things did not work out as planned, however. My lodging arrangements in Tennessee suddenly evaporated during the previous week and I was lucky to get a place to stay in a completely different state (South Carolina). My flight was longer, my drive was longer, and everything about that sucked.
At least the national chain hotel I stayed in kept the deal I booked, with no sudden rate increase surprises, and at least I was able to see almost 2 minutes and 40 seconds of eclipse, which actually was a bit longer.
I do have a bit of sunburn to deal with because of sitting out in the open for about two hours. :-)
It's OK about the comment though.
