If you think automation is going to take half of our jobs.......

How many of you are able to get solutions from a phone tree? A phone tree is automation. Right?

Mostly a phone tree just throttles how quick you get to a real person. This tax season I had to get a document resent to me and the phone tree was actually able to do that. But I was shocked as shit. A phone tree helps me less than 5% of the time. 95% of the time I want to speak to an operator.

Phone trees handle simple questions. And we've had them for about 20 years. Have they made it so there are less customer support people? No. Even ATMS didn't cause tellers to go away.

Update - OH. Now I get why the media is pushing this narrative so hard. They want people to lose hope so they can push their big government agenda. I think they are liars and phonies.

"The most influential think tank in Democratic politics has just offered new proposals casting aside the caution that constrained Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign. Not only did the Center for American Progress embrace new spending of more than $200 billion a year, its "Marshall Plan for America" called for alleviating working-class economic strains through direct government creation of 4.4-million jobs."

  1. Notice that neither party really gives a damn about lowering the tax burden whether at the local, state, or federal level. Or fixing the corrupt money system.

Kicking out the illegals and reducing legal immigration would help all working Americans.

  2. Oh you know I do. This whole thing is epic in California. Take for example - now the municipalities want to raise our water rates by 18% in the next two years because we were so good at "conserving" water. And by conserving - I mean forced to stop using water. Really if we'd have gone one more year in a drought things would have gotten super dicey here.

And now we are all using more water because..... we have water. But they are still going to raise our rates through the roof. Are they going to build more storage? Nope. Because why would they went then can just do whatever they want. California has a super majority. And in California there is never a tax people won't vote yes on. Never.

My own party frustrates me almost more than the Democrats. I think all of them that have been in there for more than 10 years should get kicked out. Put them all in a volcano.

    Volcano, volcano, VOLCANO.

I think if the Democrat really wanted to help illegals - they would help them become legal. That would really buy their loyalty. Instead they scrape by in the shadows in poverty. It bad for everyone.

    Good to see you.

  3. Both parties are pretty bad. Former governor Rick Perry arm twisted Amazon into collecting sales tax along with the Republican comptroller. Perry had also supported the Trans TX corridor where it would have condemned millions of acres so a European company could operate it.

With elected officials like that 'looking out' for us serfs who needs an external enemy.
