I've been going to these connected car conferences for close to a year now. Today was the first time I heard they were working on in-seat EEG monitors. Read: Built-in car seat heart monitors could keep fatigued drivers off the road. (Be warned the site has a really annoying pop up ad)
Obviously this is still in its infancy. I'm not sure how I feel about it because eye tracking is getting really good these days. That seems like a cheaper solution. And if there is anything I know about cars - they like cheaper alternatives. So I don't know really how big of a market this is.
