What do u do when your checker goes into great detail of how their dog just died?

  1. Hey, I can symphasize... Three weeks ago my wife gave away one of our cats, because our youngest daughter (who is the real owner of the cat) is off to college and we don;t want to do the litter thing. (found hopefully the right new owner on craig's list) The cat has always been an inside cat and is afraid of the outside, thus the need for the litter box. Then last week we decided "MY" cat needed the log sleep. He was about 18 or 19 people years old, didn't like to go outside (well loved going outside, but didn't like to GO outside) and kept missing the litter box, had really bad asthma and arthritis. Thankfully my mother-in-law took him to the vet. I couldn;t have done it, even though I think it was best for him. So in about 3 weeks, we've gone from two cats and a daughter at home to no cats and soon no daughter (just off to college, that's all). Awful quiet round here.
Anyway, Long (from me as usual) story about how I feel for the checker.

  2. Wish the "preview" worked. Hope you can make sense out of my mistakes. Major one was "log sleep" for "long sleep" But it could have been sleep like a log?

  3. Aw. I'm sorry to hear that. I can't believe how long cats live now. It has to make the pain that much worse.
