Zero Hedge didn't just read my blog...... did they? I mean, I'm pretty low traffic, so I'm not sure. But I thought it was interesting that not long after I posted my last article, a new post popped up over there about malls and how they are trying to attract a more "diverse"  clientele. 1. There's a new round of articles about this going through the works.

"The Economic Collapse" blog covered it in terms of the number of stores.

Interestingly, Neiman Marcus appears to be almost 5 billion USD in the hole.

I'm pretty sure they don't even have fifty locations, so how is it that they could be in the hole for 100 million USD or more on average per location?

  2. OMG. For real? I honestly didn't know that store was still alive!

I guess that is going to hurt for someone. But that is what you get when you keep propping up zombie stores. Who keeps lending these people money? All they had to do was ask any of their wives or girlfriends - hey Babe - you ever shop at this place? NOPE. They probably have been losing money for 20 years. It's the only explanation. That is. crazy money though. I had no idea.
