You could really tell this was crony capitalism at it's best. If real wage inflation were taking hold - it would be taking hold in the skilled labor section of the economy first. Ya know - like engineers and the like. Wage inflation in non skilled labor was because of political force, not because you had a bidding war for McDonalds workers.
