Me neither!
I suppose it's something along the lines of what a cricket does, but on a much grander scale. Because Jeff started doing this last night, and freaked the bunnies completely out. They started stamping and wouldn't settle down until we moved him into another room and closed the door. The bunnies are pretty good bugler alarms. It was a sound they'd never heard before, and it made them super unhappy.
We also suspect Jeff is a girl now. If you were curious or anything.

To tell you the truth, Keyser was beginning to wonder. As you may have noted, we had praying mantises back in Keyser's youth, so he knows that the females are bigger than males and last longer, so he was guessing that Jeff was a Jeffess.

Seriously? I thought it might be peculiar. At any rate - I would have thought it impossible to turn it into a pet. Oddly he does seem habituated. It has 0 fear, and 0 desire to explore. It's the strangest thing ever.
